Healthy and beautiful body. Every girl’s dream. A few years ago, when I looked at myself in the mirror, I realized that something needed a transformation. In this article I would like to share the ways that helped me get in shape, lose weight and gain self-confidence.


I want to say right away that my path was not easy. Here you won’t find a magic pill that will save you from everything. My weight loss story begins in 2020, during the coronavirus period, when everyone was at home and was little activity.


It was during this period that weight loss marathons, body acceptance marathons, and so on began to gain popularity. And no matter how it may sound, my first step was taken precisely thanks to one of such marathons.

Marathon for body

Initially, it seemed to me that I fell for advertising. I thought: “How can this marathon help me?” But in fact, the marathon included everything that was necessary for the first step.

Preparation of a balanced diet

There, meals were prepared for you, taking into account the caloric content that you should consume during the day. There were already ready-made recipes that have become part of my diet to this day. It was fast and convenient, and over time you begin to understand how to cook correctly and tasty.
Nutrition should be varied – this is the main key to success.


By limiting yourself to only boiled breast of chicken and buckwheat, you will certainly lose weight, but in the end you will simply lose your temper and gain back those kilograms that you lost. There were absolutely no dietary restrictions. Yes, I gave up sugar, but you can replace it with anything, natural syrups, honey, sweetener. Study the topic of nutrition more deeply, believe me, this is 60% of success in the fight against excess weight.

Eating right made me feel full and I stopped overeating. My skin has improved not only on my face, but also my entire body. Cellulite has decreased due to the kilograms and swelling I have lost. I started getting sick much less often, and eating right became as much a pleasure for me as eating a burger back in the day.

Well, I won’t say that I forgot about sweets and other nasty things. I allow myself the occasional meal, but it doesn’t harm my figure in any way, because the main diet is clean. Never blame yourself for what you eat..

Sports

I have always loved playing sports. But until 2020, it was not regular. However, the marathon was very stimulating due to its variety: cardio, strength training, exercise in the gym and at home, stretching. You could choose the one that suits you and practice when it’s convenient. Over time, this turned into a habit; sports became my companion for 3 years.

After I found out I was pregnant, I stopped training, but now that I gave birth, I plan to train again regularly. I would like to point out that muscle memory does exist. Even though I haven’t been actively involved in sports for a year now, my calf and abdominal muscles are visible. I think that constant exercise also helped me at least partially maintain my pre-pregnancy shape.

When you no longer have the strength or desire to do something, you look at others. “I want it too,” I said to myself and went to do everything in my power. How I continued my journey to my dream body

After completing the marathon (which lasted 1 month), you must move on your own, but you already understand how and where. So I continued.

In addition to sports and nutrition, drinking water was mandatory; it became my habit. Calculate your norm and drink it throughout the day.

Since I’m not a fan of it and I kept forgetting, a few simple steps helped me:

  • An app that reminded that it was time to drink water.
  • The bottle that was always with me. Immediately 1.5 liter. You can buy a beautiful glass for yourself that will stimulate you and bring aesthetic pleasure
  • When I got tired of the water, I added lemon, mint leaves, some berries (I squeezed them a little to release the juice), and tarragon.


The habit of drinking water quickly took hold. It took me 21 days, but the main thing is not to quit. Otherwise you’ll have to start over.

Thanks to water, my skin became better, there was less swelling, my intestines worked better, and I began to have enough energy for the whole day. I won’t describe the benefits of water here; I think everyone already knows this. 

Personal and body care

My transformation plan also included daily self-care. It is clear that it is physically impossible to do all the procedures for the whole body every day, or you should to be unemployed. But if you make a schedule, then everything can be done.


Body care includes:

  • Dry massage with a brush. This disperses lymph well, which in turn helps in the fight against the hated cellulite.
  • Body wraps. Then I loved to experiment and could use absolutely anything, cold in the hot season, hot in the cold. Clay ones were also in my assortment. I gave more preference to hot. It tightens the skin and accelerates lymph flow. But the main thing is regularity. Don’t expect results from one application.
  • Body scrub and cream.
  • Vacuum massage

I made a plan for the week, on what day I will do what. For example:
Monday: body scrub and cream
Tuesday: dry massage and wrap
Wednesday: vacuum massage and body oil, etc.

This helped me save time and organize my day so that I had enough time for everything.

In just a few months I was able to lose about 9 kilograms without harming my health. For more than 3 years I kept myself in shape and got rid of cellulite.
